Graduated in Environmental and Territorial Engineering, Raffaele Santangelo has collaborated for several years with the University of Basilicata and the CNR-IMAA on research projects through scholarships and research grants.
Since 2022, he is Chairman of Board of Directors at Geocart S.p.A., an engineering company that operates in Earth Observations and ICT sectors, while continuing, at the same time, as head of the Business Development and Integrated Management System departments in the same company for more than 20 years. The company is mainly active in the fields of remote sensing, monitoring of infrastructures and environment, civil engineering, software development and three-dimensional modelling.
Currently, he is also a member of Board at Digital Lighthouse S.r.l., of which he was co-CEO from in 2016, the year of its founding, to 2021, a company belonging to the same corporate group as Geocart that operates in in the field of Entertainment and Media, specialized in technical and artistic innovation solutions aimed at the Cultural and Creative Industry. The company implements innovative techniques for the development of accurate virtual and augmented reality, graphic reconstructions and animations, mobile app and video games, digital visual effects, audiovisual products and software.
