Marco Folegani is the owner, co-founder, and managing partner of both MEEO Srl and SISTEMA GmbH, companies specializing in Earth observation and remote sensing applications. He has held these roles since 2004 at MEEO and since 2009 at SISTEMA, leading the development of solutions for environmental and climate data exploitation largely in partnership with the European Space Agency.<\/span><\/p>\n

At MEEO, Folegani has served in varied capacities including senior remote sensing analyst, software developer, technical manager, project manager, and data manager. He contributed significantly to building the company\u2019s reputation in environmental monitoring, data management, and geospatial services. At SISTEMA GmbH, based in Vienna, plays the role of managing Partner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before founding MEEO, Folegani worked as a research contractor at the University of Ferrara. He holds a BSc in Physics from Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Ferrara. Over more than 24 years, he has established expertise in quantitative data analysis, systems design, technical management, and team leadership within the remote sensing and geospatial data sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n
