Degree in Marine Science and Chemical Engineering from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and Master’s in Port and Coastal Engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>He has developed research at prestigious institutions including LODYC (Paris VI), GHER (Li\u00e8ge), SOC (UK), and the Marine Institute (Ireland). As co-founder and CEO of Elittoral, he leads R&D activities focused on coastal resilience, environmental risk assessment, and offshore sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>He is also member of the <\/span>Atlantic Maritime Emergency Association<\/span><\/i>, a strategic initiative aiming to establish the Canary Islands as a central logistical and technological hub for maritime emergency response in the Mid-Atlantic region, particularly along the western coast of Africa. The Association coordinates and promotes capabilities for responding to oil spills, vessel accidents, and medical evacuations, while exporting know-how and solutions to countries in WACA region.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>Our participation in the <\/span>4th European Symposium by NEREUS Regions<\/span><\/i> under the topic <\/span>\u201cThe Mid Atlantic Ocean challenges in the human and environmental risks prevention\u201d<\/span><\/i> highlights the relevance of integrating Atlantic emergency response capacities into the European space ecosystem.
